  12. Announcing the creation of AppleLink group addresses for C++ users!

  14. The Development Tools Product Marketing group at Apple is in the process of
  15. forming AppleLink group addresses to allow easy communication between C++
  16. users.  We will be setting up two group addresses, CPlus.Apple$ (for Apple
  17. employees interested in C++) and CPlus.Dev$ (for developers and anyone else
  18. outside of Apple who is interested in C++).  Having two addresses should help
  19. avoid AppleLink limitations on very long lists.

  21. Once the lists have been set up, mail of interest to C++ users should be
  22. generally be addressed to both CPlus.Apple$ and CPlus.Dev$ (separated by a
  23. comma in the AppleLink Send dialog box), although messages could be sent to
  24. only one of the lists if appropriate.

  26. If you would like to have your AppleLink address added to (or at some point,
  27. removed from) CPlus.Apple$ or CPlus.Dev$, please reply with a link to
  28. CPLUS.ADMIN.  Please indicate whether or not you are an Apple employee.  Please
  29. be patient and allow us a little while to set up the group addresses;
  30. announcements will be sent out to the groups when the addresses have be
  31. created.
